In this term we continue our Old Testament studies with Genesis, which tells of God's faithfulness through Patriarchy - Abraham, Issac and Jacob. God gave them promises and always fulfilled them. Through the study of Genesis, we study and experience God's faithfulness to us today as he was then. The purpose of this study is to understand our Lord Jesus in the Jewish historical context.

The Power of a Praying Wife & Parent

"The study will start in September and finish by early December.  It is composed of two parts, with the first half focus on praying for our husbands and the second part for our children.  We based the study on the DVD and workbook under the same titles by Stormie Omartian.

Stormie shares how wives can develop a deeper relationship with their husbands by praying for them. Packed with practical advice on praying for specific areas, including decision-making, fears, spiritual strength, and sexuality, this study helps us discover the fulfilling marriage God intended.

After decades of raising her own children, Stormie looks back at the trials and joys of parenting and the power found in praying for her kids. She shares from personal experience as to how parents can pray for their children’s safety, character development, school experiences, marriage, career and so much more."
