The Scriptural Purpose of Island ECC’s involvement in Global Outreach
- To fulfill the Great Commission of Christ Globally (Matt. 28:18-20).
- To share Christ’s heart for the global world, with a special focus throughout Asia (Matt. 9:36-38; Gal.6:9-10).
- To build up and to mobilize the body of Christ in Island ECC to know the heart of God and to make his heart knowing to global world (Eph. 4:12-16)
- To minister to the totality of human need (Matt. 22:37-39; Gal. 6:9-10)
The Definition of Global Outreach
IslandECC defines Global Outreach as that which fulfills the Great Commission by proclaiming and defending the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ globally or cross-culturally through evangelism, short term outreach, supporting fulltime missionaries and mission organizations, and mobilizing the body of Christ to penetrate the Gospel in their spheres of life.
