Short Term Missions

  • Africa – Rwanda

Serve in the heart of Africa and experience God’s unfailing love. Take time to absorb His world. Listen to kids joyfully sing to God, pray with those who have HIV/AIDS, be humbled by the widows who are rebuilding their lives, embrace the orphans, dance freely with youth, play sports with the streetkids, and worship wholeheartedly with our brothers and sisters. Although the aftermath of the 1994 Genocide has left the Rwandese with struggles in loss, poverty, and building the future, there has been forgiveness, redemption and hope. We are privileged to walk alongside and encourage them in the love that God has for all of us and in turn, their faithful spirit for life blesses us. In God’s eyes, Rwanda is not forgotten.

Cambodia is one of the rare countries in Asia that has been ravaged by civil war and poverty.  During the Khmer Rouge regime, over 1.5 million people were killed, leaving 42.8% of the population now under the age of 14.  One out of five people in the population are children who have seen killings, death and sickness for much of their childhood and have little hope in life.  Our vision is to bring the hope and joy of Christ to them in any way possible.  Come and invest in the next generation so that they will grow up knowing that they are dearly loved by God.

Love English Summer Camp: - 2008 information download

“God’s love, as seen in us.” For 6 days, you’ll share His love and values through cultivating friendships with high school students in Hubei, while teaching them basic oral English skills. The students come from some of the best high schools in the region and three will be over 250 of them! Therefore, we need your help! Serve as an English teacher, a teaching assistant, or give us administration and technical support. Training sessions in evangelizing and teaching will be held before we go, so experience isn’t a must – just a love for Him and His people are needed.

They are thought to be the largest people groups without a single known Christian fellowship. We will be presenting the Easter message to children and student of ethnic minorities, engaging university students in Bible study, visiting missionaries in the rural areas. Come and join us in these exciting activities as well as prayer walking, English teaching, cultural exchange, Easter service on the mountain and praying for the unreached groups of Qinghai.

  • Mongolia

Help bring relief and joy to the poor and homeless children of Ulaanbaatar, Outer Mongolia. Each summer, teams from Hong Kong travel to Ulaanbaatar for one to two weeks to participate in outreach in the city and to put on a summer camp for the children there. We travel to camp located several hours outside the city to show the love of Christ by providing fun activities along with companionship, free playtime, and medical care. Team members can then decide to participate in projects within Ulaanbaatar, such as classes at the community centre, family visits, etc, for a second week along with a time of sightseeing and shopping. The second week is optional for each team participant.
